I am a Shadow Walker by Leslie S. Rish

I am a shadow walker so I must walk in the shadow of two people.  Born to a parent of Native American heritage, and one of the White race.  Neither will claim me, so I walk the shadows with all those whom are mixes.
We walk in the shadows in the hope that someday we will walk in the light of our people, and be a part of each race.  We want to be claimed as the children of many nations, and given a place to take our stand. Until that day, we will remain the shadow walkers.
